Sheetal is a Managing Partner of the firm and its Group Chief Operating Officer, based in the firm’s London headquarters. Sheetal oversees the firm’s daily operations, ensures operational efficiency, and implements strategic initiatives. His responsibilities include managing the firm's infrastructure, optimizing processes, and leading organizational development.
Sheetal has over two decades of experience in investment management and capital markets, during which he played crucial roles in driving business growth and aligning operational practices with firm strategy and mission.
Before joining Tower Peak, he worked at APG Asset Management, Europe’s largest fiduciary manager as Fixed Income OCIO. In this role, he advised several of Europe’s largest pension funds on beta design, sustainable investment strategies, and was responsible for the oversight of global fixed income mandates, covering both public and private debt across developed and emerging markets.
Previously, Sheetal worked at the European Stability Mechanism (ESM), where he served as principal portfolio manager in the Investment Division, co-managing an €85 billion high-grade fixed income portfolio. He also held the role of Strategist in the Economics & Market Analysis Division of ESM.
Prior to ESM, he worked at Goldman Sachs, initially working in the firm’s Legal Department, focusing on derivatives structuring, transaction negotiation and trading documentation. He then became a fixed income portfolio manager in the Investment Management Division of Goldman Sachs. Sheetal began his career at ABN AMRO Bank in Amsterdam, focusing on credit risk management and legal negotiations of derivatives trading documentation.
Sheetal holds both LLB and LLM degrees from Erasmus University Rotterdam, majoring in corporate and financial law, with a minor in intellectual property law. He also earned an Executive MBA degree jointly conferred by NYU Stern School of Business, The London School of Economics and Political Science, and HEC Paris School of Management.
