Stratis is a Managing Partner and serves as Group General Counsel & Group Chief Compliance Officer at Tower Peak Partners, based in the firm's London office. He is responsible for ensuring the firm's global affairs adhere to laws and regulations. Stratis supports the executive team in its governance and risk management functions and advises on firm matters from employment to IP and corporate matters.
Prior to joining Tower Peak, Stratis practised law with London-based Consolio, where he handled corporate and project development mandates for clients such as Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton.
He held a senior role in the Corporate Division of Navios Group, a Greek-owned international shipping company headquartered in Athens, where he led ship financing activities and managed the company's ship sale and purchase commercial mandates.
Previously, Stratis worked as in-house counsel for New Media Europe and as competition law team leader at Pappas & Associates in Brussels. He also worked for The McClure Law Firm LLC and the American Antitrust Institute in Washington, D.C.
Stratis began his career at the European Commission in the Directorate-General for Competition.
Stratis is also the founder and owner of Kamatsos Law, a London-based law firm that advises on a range of complex legal matters, and a founder and owner of evo3, an olive oil production business in Greece. Stratis is also an accomplished public speaker and author.
He holds a Law degree from the University of Durham, an LLM in European Union Law from University College London, and an LLM, Magna Cum Laude, from Tulane University Law School. Stratis is admitted to the New York Bar and is a qualified solicitor in England & Wales.
