Simey is a Managing Partner and serves as Chief Operating Officer for Brazil at Tower Peak Partners, based in the firm's Rio de Janeiro office. He is responsible for overseeing the firm's daily operations in Brazil, ensuring operational efficiency and implementing strategic initiatives.

Before joining Tower Peak, Simey was a Managing Partner at BPrates Corretora de Seguros, a Brazilian insurance broker serving medium-sized and large companies. In this role, he implemented operations for corporate clients, building a portfolio of over three hundred clients.

Previously, Simey worked at Itaú Unibanco, one of the largest banks in Latin America, where he served as Head of Middle Office, responsible for custody and clearing services for over one thousand and five hundred funds in Brazil, the US, and Chile, representing USD one hundred and fifty billion in AUM.

During his tenure at Itaú Unibanco he also served as Head of Financial Control for all products and services provided by the bank to several Brazilian capital markets companies, representing a collective USD seven hundred billion in AUM. He also led the Escrow Account and Registrar Services for large companies and private clients in M&A transactions and loan guarantees involving government and private banks, managing more than one hundred and fifty contracts per year.

Prior to Itaú Unibanco, he worked at Santander Bank in Brazil, where he was Head of Custody and Control, responsible for implementing the operations and systems to control all quota holders across Santander's custody services.

Simey holds an MSc in Economics from Fundação Getúlio Vargas (EESP-FGV) and an Executive MBA in Finance from IBMEC. He also holds a BSc in Industrial Engineering from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ).
